Bio
Blue Red Roses hail from the rural, midwestern hills of Otter Tail County. Filled with lakes, woodlands, and back gravel roads, this is where Blue Red Roses gained their gigging chops playing breweries, wineries, pubs, and festivals — racking up hundreds of shows across Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, and Washington.
Known for their upbeat energy and breathtaking harmonies, you can expect up-front vocals and stripped down, groovy instrumentation from this duo. They bring a warm, fun vibe that nods to the sounds of the late 60s and early 70s, and they pull their set list from these golden decades. Audiences can kick back and relax as Blue Red Roses takes them on a nostalgic trip into the sunset, all while leaving the stage electric and the dance floor well used.
Mary and Dan both come from live rock and roll backgrounds along with years of musical theater and classical training and have graced stages such as First Avenue 7th Street Entry, Turf Club, Roy Wilkins Auditorium, The Fine Line, Schuba’s, The O’Shaughnessy, and more.
